Job Placement Record
We take very seriously our responsibility to prepare graduate students to find academic employment, such as teaching or fellowship positions.
For the purposes of documenting our doctoral Placement record, we only count first-time, tenure-track positions obtained within 3 years of completion. Some of our graduate students also find short term positions as Visiting Assistant Professors, and in one, two, and three-year postdoctoral fellowships. We provide extensive support for job seekers not only through colloquia on the profession and special committee supervision, but with step-by-step guidance through the placement process itself.
